FIELD BRIEF 01 · START HERE

Your first match, simplified.

Block Wars asks you to split one resource between defense, gear, and movement. This guide gives you a calm opening rhythm without pretending there is one perfect build order.

60-SECOND QUICK START

Mine. Fortify. Gear. Scan.

The time bands below are suggested pacing for a first match, not official phase timing.

Mine an opening supply

Use the pickaxe and gather blocks. Do not decide the whole match before you have a resource to spend.

Protect the core

Use some blocks to make your core less exposed. Keep the goal visible: protect yours and pressure theirs.

Reserve an upgrade

Avoid spending every block on defense. Gear upgrades are part of the official loop and support your next fight.

Read the field

Look at your core, your possible route, and opposing movement. The Storm will appear, but public sources do not confirm its exact timing, effects, or presentation.

FIRST-MATCH CHECKLIST

Six checks before every push

  1. 01

I gathered blocks before trying to solve every problem.

  2. 02

I put a basic protective layer around our core.

  3. 03

I kept some blocks available for gear or movement.

  4. 04

I checked our core again before building away from it.

  5. 05

I know why I am moving forward: pressure, a core opening, or a safer position.

  6. 06

I remember the Storm will appear without assuming its timing, effects, or presentation.

THE DECISION FILTER

What helps the next 20 seconds?

When you are unsure, choose the action that improves your core safety, your ability to fight, or your path to an opposing core.

DEFENSE

Core exposed?

Spend blocks on protection and reassess.

POWER

Fight looks weak?

Consider a gear upgrade before overcommitting.

ACCESS

No useful route?

Build deliberately, keeping your return path in mind.
